Install Kratos Prerequisites

Before installing Kratos there are some libraries and programs that have to be installed. Depending on the type of linux you have, use one of the following set of commands in a terminal.

Install prerequisites on a Debian system (such as Ubuntu)

the following command installs all of the required dependencies on a Ubuntu system

  sudo apt-get install -y build-essential subversion libblas3gf libblas-dev liblapack3gf liblapack-dev python-dev gfortran libboost-all-dev libatlas3gf-base

or Install prerequisites on a RHEL system (Red Hat Linux)

The following command installs the required dependencies & software needed on a RHEL 6 system to compile Kratos:

  yum install subversion cmake gcc-c++ gcc gcc-gfortran lapack blas boost-python boost-devel blas-devel lapack-devel python-devel atlas
